Tokenomics is a token’s economic design: total supply, how it’s distributed (team, investors, treasury, community), emission/release schedules, lockups, burning, and what the token is actually *for*. It’s the incentive blueprint of the whole project.
Why it matters
Tokenomics is the first thing to audit before trusting a project. A token mostly held by insiders with early unlock, or paid as “APY” by printing more of — becomes the exit liquidity for the next buyer. Honest tokenomics is diffuse, unlocked gradually, and tied to real utility.
