FUD — fear, uncertainty, doubt — is negative sentiment (earned or manufactured) that crashes prices: real hacks and bans, but also coordinated short attacks, fake screenshots, and recycled old news presented as breaking. Someone is very often positioned to profit from your panic.

Why it matters

FUD works because crypto markets run on narrative leverage — thin books plus hair triggers. The defense is verification speed: check primary sources (official posts, on-chain data, reputable confirmations) before acting, and note who benefits if you sell. Real problems deserve exits; manufactured ones deserve patience.
